Welcome to our Crosenest Pop-Up Playdate Program!

In the heart of ‘Nest, we invite you and your child to embark on a journey of intentional play and creative exploration. Our unique space offers seasonal musings, natural toys, sensorial arts and free play, all designed to deepen your connection with nature and each other.

Program Details:

• Days: Pop-Up Playdates held each month on Fridays & Saturdays (dates vary - check our schedule for availability)

• 1.5 Hour Sessions:

  • Fridays [3 sessions]: 1:00pm - 2:30pm | 3:00pm - 4:30pm | *5:00pm - 6:30pm (*Happy Hour Session for Parents)

  • Saturdays [3 sessions]: 11:00 - 12:30 | 1:00pm - 2:30pm | 3:00pm - 4:30pm

For Parents and Caregivers:

• Enjoy complimentary tea while observing and supporting your child's development.

• On Fridays, join our special "Happy Hour" session from 5:00pm - 6:30pm and enjoy a drink, snack, or meal at our botanical restaurant (The Evergreen Room) next door.

• Connect with like-minded families, fostering a supportive community on this parenting journey.

For Children Ages 1-12+:

• Creative free play is fundamental to each session, with all-natural materials and play prompts that change through the seasons.

• Activities include coloring, imaginative play, building with wood blocks, sensorial play with silks, and games for older children to foster creativity and independent thinking.

• Older children can engage in educational nature games, read from our library, participate in journaling or art prompts, or take on leadership roles by guiding younger children in creative play.

Aesthetics of Our Space: Our space is designed with natural, earthy tones + materials inspired by Waldorf and Montessori pedagogies. We believe in creating an environment that is both beautiful and functional, promoting calm and creativity. The use of natural materials and soothing colors helps children feel grounded and connected to their surroundings, enhancing their learning and play experience.

Special Features:

• Restroom available.

• Homeschooling families welcome! We can accommodate mixed ages and offer opportunities for older siblings.

• Limited to 4-5 caregivers and their children per session to ensure a nurturing environment.

• Nature-Inspired Groups: We offer a serene environment filled with natural materials and earthy tones, fostering a deep connection to the natural world.

• Homeschooling Families: Provides a conducive environment for learning and community engagement.

Important Note:

• Caregivers must be present at all times with their children. THIS IS NOT A DROP OFF PROGRAM.

• Please remove your shoes before entering the play space. This helps keep the area clean and sustainable.
